For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.
Hebrews 4:12-13 NIV
👉God knows our thoughts and attitudes of our heart. We lay bare in front of Him. That means He is watching us.
👉Now, some of the things which displeases God that we do knowingly or unknowingly, the Word of God convicts us. It gives a feeling of unworthiness.
👉Also, we feel in our hearts that we should change and be a person in order to please God by changing and correcting ourselves.
👉However, it will need great faith and courage to do so.
👉What I felt is individually to correct according to God’s way is difficult unless we are accountable to someone who is matured in the Lord.
👉In other words we have to have a accountability partner so as to confess our thoughts, attitudes of our hearts our actions which are not pleasing to God.
👉That will help us to correct ourselves and keep a check for ourselves. That’s why it is written in the last words in the same passage that every one will have to give account of their deeds.
👉 Giving account to God means it is always God’s appointed people around you. So look for an accountability partner. Have a glorious day.
