Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me—put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.
Philippians 4:8-9 NIV
👉As We draw closer to God, the evil one is very active, he attacks our mind. Here is his playground. He will put all sorts of negativity and wrong thoughts in our minds. The choice is now ours whether to indulge more in those thoughts or reject those thoughts.
👉With the power of Holy Spirit in us we can choose the later and think what Paul says in the above passage that.
1. Whatever is true
2. Whatever is noble
3. Whatever is right
4. Whatever is pure
5. Whatever is lovely
6. Whatever is admirable
7. Excellent things and
8. Praise worthy things.
👉Let us look around things and people around us and appreciate and think good thoughts about them. Encourage them and so on and so forth.
👉Also, Paul says to imitate him, and put into practice what ever he said, other words obey God’s word.
