👉 The proud heart will care less about people, such a person will consider others as less important and even treat them disrespectfully.
👉 However, our God gives grace to the humble and even exalts humble people at the appropriate time. Because he cares for you.
Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
1 Peter 5:6-7 NIV
👉 Humility will help you to honour your parents and elders, even as you honour your elders and parents there is a promise along with it that is:
“so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth.”
Ephesians 6:3 NIV
