In the same way, you who are younger, submit yourselves to your elders. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble.”

👉 Younger means youth or any one younger to elder, here we can consider Parents who are elders, Church leaders, Pastors, overseers, can also considered as elders.
👉 Submit to your elders is a command. We who are always surrounded by our elders, should recognise them, should be with them, should be connected to them in Christ Jesus.
👉 Submission is a volunteer act, we choose to submit to elders. Because God has placed them above us. It is a clear order of God.
👉 Submission is a best way to give respect, they elders particularly the parents have responsibility towards you. They are accountable to God. They are answerable to God for what ever happens in your life.
👉 We submit because Jesus himself submitted to His father. He is an example to be followed by all of us.
When he has done this, then the Son himself will be made subject to him who put everything under him, so that God may be all in all.
1 Corinthians 15:28 NIV
👉 Submission is an external evidence of your Christian walk. Are you really a follower of Christ?
👉 Submission honours elders, if you have submissive heart you will have fruit of obedience and respect for elders.
