God is the one who created you and all the created things what we see and unseen. He is a triune God. The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. We were born and lived in sin in this world. However, God in his Goodness and in His Will came to us and Saved us. As he chose Israel as His own people. He is obsessive and possessive about them and He as Covenanted with them. Similarly, He has done for us as a believer. He is possessive of you and me. We are his special people. He Loves us and He cares for us. Hence, expects us to Love Him with all our hearts, with all our soul, with all our strength, and with all our mind. Worship Him only none other gods should be worshipped.
There may be many other idols in our lives, which may take that first place of God. Mainly it may be a person, or a thing, or a ministry or job, or a business, or a place etc. Let us give them not the first place. However, when you give God the priority, He will give a heart to love your loved once to love better and give more ways to enjoy things around you because He is a God who wants to bless you and keep blessing you. He will give a heart to enjoy Him and people around you forgiving one another. So, I believe the priorities for our lives should be in this order. 1. God 2. Your Family 3. Ministry/job/Business
Every time you have problem in decision making follow the above priority, your decisions will be right and it will be pleasing to God.
